Barbara Jo Bednarczuk is an NYC based actor. She made her Broadway debut alongside theatre legends Patti LuPone and Christine Ebersole in War Paint. Barbara Jo joined the cast of My Fair Lady at Lincoln Center, helmed by Bartlett Sher and choreographed by Chris Gatelli. One of her most thrilling theatrical experiences was playing Eponine in Les Miserables at the Tony award-winning Utah Shakespeare Festival.
Barbara Jo got her first taste of what it meant to be a dance captain early on, so adding swing into the mix for War Paint seemed natural. Both positions taped into her industrious nature as she helped maintain the show, taught her incoming cast mates, and performed several roles throughout the run.
When she isn't on stage, you can find Barbara Jo pretending to be various characters on FaceTime with her niece and nephews. This engaging introvert loves nurturing her soul listening to podcasts during long walks around lower Manhattan.
